Okay, I am almost Corkrey-ed out. I feel like it's a birthday or something, and so I figure I have an hour and 45 minutes left before midnight, and then I won't be allowed to talk about Corkrey anymore. I just had to put up this post because she has provided my sound bite for the day:
Megan Joy, quoted in Entertainment Weekly when asked about those funky dance moves:
"I can't help it. I don't know why it happens. I would say to people who hate them, 'Too bad. Close your eyes.' The producers were constantly like, 'Practice in the mirror!' But I don't like to. I don't want to plan anything. I won't sound the same if I'm focusing on my body. So I never took that advice. Maybe I should have."
Uh, ya' think? I know we all need to walk our own roads or as Megan likes to say, walk her own plank, but maybe if we did focus on the body, we wouldn't sound the same. And that would be, as Martha likes to say, a good thing. Well, you have to love the irony of it!
